Subject: Is there any advantage in using a normal map for Poser?

Thank you all I asked the same question months ago over at RDNA and got no help at all. I am trying to learn how to use the Physical surface for materials I have yet to find an example for human skin.

Snarlygribly and bopperthijs have a script and plug-in for this.

Yes I know about that but that is not using Physical Surface it uses Poser Surface. Besides that I am trying to learn more about using Physical Surface most examples I see of Poser Superfly materials are all Cycles Surface (and then they do not explain where all the nodes used are found). Not sure why that is.

bopperthijs's plug-in uses the Cycles root and cycles nodes for the shader it is 0% Poser nodes. The physical surface root is most likely a compound node that uses Cycles nodes inside so basically the same thing.
