Not sure this really counts as an "athro'" figure, not by the loose definition I stated at the start of the thread, but I thought I'd place this here rather than starting a new thread.
I was inspired to "interpret" a series of videos in which someone used a Cthulhu hand puppet (yes, a commercially available item does exist) as the host of a "call in" advice show! After giving each "caller" some sage and reasonable advice, Cthulhu would turn nihilistic and describe how he'd eventually shatter their minds and "eat their soul". I nearly choked from laughter as his speech would turn Lovercarftian with "purple prose" when threatening each caller.
I decided to use Sixus1's more recent Cthulhu figure and staged a "talk show" type environment that holds some Netherworld elements (I used the back wall of the "Alien" Space Jockey set as Giger's motifs fit Lovecraft quite well). In addition to the prerequisite microphone and coffee mug, I propped up (by a pile of skulls) a copy of the dreaded Necronomicon (styled after the "Evil Dead" props) as though he's hawking his latest publishing venture.
Yeah, a bit oddball, I know.
Sincerely,
Bill
Tempt the Hand of Fate and it'll give you the "finger"!
