RorrKonn - many comic artists do use poser as a reference tool. Though theres a bit of snobbery around the use of software in traditional media and it can be seen as "cheating".

Personally I'd like to see more open convergence of poser and other meduims. Such as artists using it to create etsy craft style products.

Then again I'll freely admit I'm biased and use both traditional and digital stuff in my work. For example using poser to previz wooden objects. Helps with paint schemes and things like joint placement.

Well, I do understand their position. Suppose you spend all those years learning how to draw, and someone comes along and creates a shortcut, which also jeopardises your income and career.
