@marble : You suggest me to give VWD and the Bridges to all the persons registred in Renderosity. Many persons will thank you for that ;-).

I don't understand what you are saying. When did I suggest giving anyone anything? My suggestion was only about **version numbers ** so that we can be sure that we have the latest version.
Excuse me marble, it was a translation error. You are right. I need to be more precise on the version number. I will include it, perhaps in the makerplace. This will ensure what is the current version.

Very exciting!!!!
Can't wait to see what new features you will have in store for us. :)
Will this new version integrate using the GPU? I am sure I read this being discussed somewhere, promising a faster program. Or perhaps I imagined it.
I just receive the new version of VWD. I must say thanks to Gerald and WimVDB for the updated manual!!! It is a major improvement, the english is very understandable and the tutorials are excellent. Chapter 12 Fundamentals also does a great job explaining the basics and providing good visual examples of how different values affect the simulation result. I'm more excited by the manual than any of the new features :)
I do wish to point out that some pictures in the manual are very dark... because the background of the page is white, then when the picture on the page is dark (for example, the inflate example using C19 Jeans) the high contrast of the white page background with the dark picture makes it even harder to see the contents of the picture. I could not even see the buttons of the jeans in the second photo unless I look very very closely to the screen.
I just sent a mail to Jenn to ask her to make the updates for the normal and lite versions.
I also added a new freestuff corresponding to this new version in demo mode.
This version is the V1.1.502.3552.
About the manual, it has been fully written by WimVDB, I only gave him some informations explaining the program.

That's good news; hoping i receive it soon, as I bought it from VWD directly. :)

FWIW, The new version is in my downloads (VWDClothAndHair+V1.1.502.3552_202764.zip) but not properly dated/marked as an update! (still dated 2016-08-19)!!!!
Opening that zipfile shows updated files and manuals dated 2017-02-22 (last week!).
Off to play with my new toy and the phenomenal new manual - Great job Wim! and again, Thanks Gerald for an amazing tool!
cheers!

FWIW, It looks like Gerald produced a bug fix update on April 13 or so. I didn't get a notice from rendo, but it's in my account uploads as:
VWDClothAndHair+V1.1.518.3626_205017.zip
and the two key executables have newer dates - I saw a reference to the fix in the VWD 'Shift Key' forum discussion.
Thanks Gerald!

I made an error when I generated the EXE file. I wrote 1.0..... and not 1.1..... For me, this version is a test version. Please tell me if is suits you about the Shift Key. I will do a tutorial to explain the new function in the Utilities tab.

Hello Gerald,
I didn't receive any message for the new version I'm still on V1.0.494.3523. I remember that I'm not the only one.
Thanks!
Hello Stef,
you are right. Excuse me, you and all the direct buyers. I want to send a new version to Renderosity with all the latest corrections and I will send this version also to everyone, this week.
Forgive me for this forgetfulness.
Gérald

@dzonatan : No, I am sorry. Currently, I have no time to work on the GPU version. I certainly will create a thread when this version will be really in progress.

Just wondering what version VWD is at?
I know last time a new version was released, I was missed in the email; the reason I ask, is that I've seen a couple of posts discuss features I don't appear to have.
I'm currently on: 1.0.408.2976
