Kristi,

I would like to make a purchase from renderosity later today. I had the full amount of a gift card stolen recently here at renderosity, and I am not willing to try my credit card here again just yet as it seems to be an ongoing thing.

What I want to know is this: If I purchase, say a vanilla Visa debit gift card, can I immediately put the full amount to either store credit or to something else? I'd like some assurance that if I take out $40 or $50 there won't be foul ups in the check-out process again that prevent me making a purchase, and then have someone swoop in and drain the card to zero like they did the last time. (Rendo or their middleman put multiple holds on the card, without authorizing the purchase, effectively blocking both the purchase desired and any other purchase I wanted to make).

Last week i got a warning from creditcardcompany that data was stolen from renderosity, had to change my card. My trust is gone, i'm afraid to purchase.

I don't even look in the Marketplace at the moment, that way I cannot be tempted. It might be different once I have my prepayment card sorted but, then again, it may not. To think I used to spend over $100 a month here, how times have changed.

I use Poser 13 on Windows 11 - For Scene set up I use a Geekcom A5 -  Ryzen 9 5900HX, with 64 gig ram and 3 TB  storage, mini PC with final rendering done on normal sized desktop using an AMD Ryzen Threadipper 1950X CPU, Corsair Hydro H100i CPU cooler, 3XS EVGA GTX 1080i SC with 11g Ram, 4 X 16gig Corsair DDR4 Ram and a Corsair RM 100 PSU .   The desktop is in a remote location with rendering done via Queue Manager which gives me a clearer desktop and quieter computer room.
