Hehe. No cricitism intended, btw. I never bought any of the fixes you mentioned so all I have to work with is the stuff I mentioned.

The Weightmapped version is a huge improvement on the original but mine is acting a bit flakey for some reason. Maybe a reinstall - of everything - would be in order. That, or a hammer through the computer.

Haha. So does a good wall. I have thrown keyboards, tablets, external drives and countless mice against walls. Good way to recycle aging computer stuff you feel bad throwing away because they "sorta" still work. Break it good and eliminate the guilt of replacing it. LOL
