Posing Victoria 3 to Victoria 7

Victoria 3 generation to Victoria 4, had a similar basic rigging structure. "Universal" Poses worked similarly on both, Including Michael 3, David 3, Michael 4

Genesis added an extra abdomen body part to the skeleton, depending on the pose, some worked, others needed extra tweaking.

Genesis 3 has a 173 bones.

Victoria 7, Michael 7 have 173 bones, many of them in the face. Legs and arms have an additional bone, bend and then twist are separate bones, as well as arm bend, arm twist. Leg -- Left Thigh Bend--> Left Twist --> left shin, heel (yes, heel has a posing bone) ditto right, Arm -- Collar, Shoulder, Forearm (twist), Torso contains a pelvis and a hip bone. - Pelvis leads down to the legs, - Hip leads up the torso to arms and head. V7/M7 have individual rigged toes!

Going up from the hip, there's a lower abdoman, upper abdomen, lower chest, upper chest (right and left pectoral bones control breast movement, these alone need their own video tutorial, lol) upper chest leads to lower neck, upper neck lower teeth, upper teeth lower face rig, upper face rig chin has a bone, nose has a few bones, rotate a nose bone for an upturned nose, or scale for a button nose lower eyelids have 3 bones a piece, upper eyelid, and brows have 3 bones a piece. a few more for each cheek, multiple bones for upper lip, lower lip, tongue has 4 pose-able bones Ears! yep, rotate the ears, scale, flap them with an oscillate tweener

With all these bones and weightmapping, V7/M7 still contain jcms the jcms are "formulas" attached to the pose controls.

Victoria 3, Vicki 4, their rigging was contained within the .cr2, so if you wanted to edit the rigging, saving as an alt .cr2 wouldn't touch the original rigging.

Victoria 7, M7, their rigging is stored in the data folder file .dsf, basically the master file for all the character presets. character preset or subset are like sublevels of the master data file. To play with rigging without effecting the original, as a standalone, would need to save your genesis figure as a ""Product"", when asked for the vendor name, use something other than the default, (i usually save mine as D01 or D02)
