Hi

What the OP suggests will never happen. The reasons for this are many But I will only mention the obvious one.

Tech support!! the moment you create a specific plugin to export to a specific program

that you DO NOT control, Well you become "obligated" at least on some ethical level, to provide support for that plugin which involves having that other program installed and PAYING your dev team to

keep up with every Decimal point upgrade that the owners of that other

program decide to implement, any one of which might break your

plugins functionality.

Daz provides export options to various generic 3D formats such as FBX,.obj,MDD , Alembic etc.

However when there is a problem getting your Alembic mesh or G3 female FBX rig to work properly in Autodesk Maya you are on your own in figuring out how to resolve it in your Autodesk/Maxon or whatever program.

as DAZ has only promised you the ability to export to ""Industry Standard" formats This is the reality, Now and going forward ,for every 3D program that exports to other formats.

Pose users ,for a variety of reasons, prefer to stay within poser. Fine..... Live ....with.... your.....choices!!.

You are no more entitled to specific other party support from DAZ or anyone else than Mac OS or linux "Distro 1028747rhf 3985" users are entitled to support from Autodesk etc.

And the "financial argument" is moot The bean counters at DAZ or any other company have made thier own determination about the cost effectiveness of supporting poser and have clearly decide it is not cost effective. let it go.
