Okay, the question I had was what keeps you going when you are new to this and your pictures don't attract many glances in the gallery? Sure I'll make the kind of art I want to make no matter how unpopular it is. But its lonely work. For ages I said, when I have x,y,z, then I'll make something... So I haven't really done many finished renders in my life yet. I kinda have lots to do and never can decide what would be best to do first, build scenes, build characters, turn some of those seamless textures into shaders, sort all my stuff, or just render some stuff already?
Great question and I am perhaps always in the same boat I have been a part of this community for over 10 years and you can look at my galleries and there is not a whole bunch there because having confidence in my own art I just think it never can compare to other artist who I will always say are thousand times better than me now I am forcing myself to contribute more art to my galleries but what helps me keep going is sharing knowledge I might not have confidence in my work but I have allot of confidence in my knowledge and sharing that knowledge with the community truly helps in not feeling like it is lonely work. Every chance I get to help someone out with answering a question or pointing them in a direction to help them achieve what they want helps me over come some of my to harsh self criticism which holds me back from building models and making renders. I hope this answers part of your question
