Well...
[Rant Mode ON]
Most of the stuff I remember were mainly the bloody awful and not at all funny Hanna-Barberra cartoon shows such as Wait Till Your Father Gets Home, Scooby Doo and so forth. There was also Blue Peter (okay at times) Magpie (terrible) and stuff like Ace of Wands and Timeslip. Ace of Wands was just unbelievably boring and Timeslip, although promising, moved at a snail's pace. Even at that age, I used to be able to see through all the plot devices, all the contrivances and the almost inevitable deus ex machina being wheeled out to save the day.
Don't even get me started on the unadulterated tosh of the Double Deckers, the sleazy, creepy Crackerjack and the sheer teeth grinding awfulness of stuff like Hector's House.
I was prepared to forgive Anderson's stuff for its many faults because at least they put some effort into making it look good and some of the stories were half decent. Well, right up to Joe 90, which was complete and utter bobbins. UFO wasn't bad in parts but a bit hamstrung by the (ahem) production values of the time. I'd love to see a reboot, properly done, with some kind of development and expansion but I guess that territory's already been done to death by stuff like V, X Files and the appalling Falling Skies.
I have the same trouble with most (non children's) telly nowadays; watching just about any crime drama all I can think is, "I'm a damn sight smarter than them and they're supposed to be paid professionals, why the blinking flip can't they work out who dunnit and how?" That and the dreadful acting, improbable scenarios, tedious "character" scenes and the obligatory exposition scenes for the hard of thinking. Regular drama shows don't interest me because most of the characters are either improbable stereotypes, idiots or plain horrible.
Even allowing for Sturgeon's Law, telly in general is garbage. Which is probably why I lost interest a long time ago. My ex wife used to complain that I'd not sit and watch stuff for long, other than the odd thing here and there. I used to watch Father Ted, Twin Peaks, Vic Reeves and the odd episode of Frasier. TBH, I'd rather draw, paint, listen to music or play me guitar.

So there you have it.
