I would prefer a 256bit card over 128bit.
For video editing and other memory intensive tasks, I would agree. For increasing render speed in GPU render engines like we may be referring to here, memory interface bit depth really doesn't matter. BTW, the GTX 1060 is 192-bit.
To be honest, I'm not sure the OP really needs a graphics card to help with his render speed. Unless his software is using 100% GPU rendering, his CPU may be the bottleneck anyway. I'm hoping to establish exactly what his system specs are, and if the software he runs can use GPU or simply GPU enhanced rendering.
