Thanks, hornet3d , 'preciate it. Yeah, last time I contacted them, the guy who answered my emails did not fully read my email and just sort of focused on only a small part of what I'd said. If only software companies could be held responsible for poor customer support... they promise much, but often barely deliver.
Anyway, I gotta get this fixed, I paid a pretty penny for this flippin' thing! Have a good one...M
Actually, re-reading your last post I now understand that you are trying to activate this from a computer not connected to the Internet, something I did not fully grasp the first time around. This was the setup that triggered the problem with Game Dev which, while it had issues with some connected computers, the main problem was with those not connected to the internet. One of the changes since then is that there is a procedure so get a permanent activation code to resolve this very issue. I am not sure the exact procedure but there is a answer to a thread here that outlined the procedure which is how I know about it. As it was not pertinent to my version of Poser I did not link the thread.
Might be worth having a look here, it was not that long ago as far as I remember, otherwise SM customer support should be able to advise or it may be covered in the documentation that you will have downloaded.
I use Poser 13 on Windows 11 - For Scene set up I use a Geekcom A5 - Ryzen 9 5900HX, with 64 gig ram and 3 TB storage, mini PC with final rendering done on normal sized desktop using an AMD Ryzen Threadipper 1950X CPU, Corsair Hydro H100i CPU cooler, 3XS EVGA GTX 1080i SC with 11g Ram, 4 X 16gig Corsair DDR4 Ram and a Corsair RM 100 PSU . The desktop is in a remote location with rendering done via Queue Manager which gives me a clearer desktop and quieter computer room.
