I finally "got" it that one could just find and hit the new Poser11 .exe file in the update, and install the program.
Then I did the manual activation routine. It seems to work.
I installed it as a 64 bit program. I kept my preferences. It seems to have automatically installed my previous libraries--only, some few things are missing (I've only checked my "new figures folder" from Poser09, many of my figures are not there). Not sure why. Maybe if I uninstall/reinstall as a 32 bit program, then I should get everything inside the libraries of my other two earlier Poser installations. (?)
