Take a look at your TDR (GPU hang recovery time). If it is too low (win default is 2 sec) then the GPU can be interrupted by long computations throwing a blue screen. This is more common from Win7 onwards as a display issue. The time can be set to whatever you want in settings. Poser users with GPUs are running into this more and more as the shaders get more complex. I am guessing your display may be getting overwhelmed while gaming if your cables are tight, dust isn't causing overheating, and you have a big enough power supply to power the card.
