But then who exactly would be the cause of one product being more popular than another? Again, vendors respond to customer's demand and there will always be a section of customers that will not be serviced because that's how the free market works. In the smartphone market place, why would a windows phone owner blame the developer of a mobile app on IOS because more customers bought into itunes than the zune marketplace? At the end of day a content developer is going to develop for what makes them money to cover costs and we as customers have to understand that and not be upset by people wanting to make a living. Helping someone understand how the market works should not be considered antagonizing them. Realistically a customer can only vote with their wallet, but even the best products are eventually updated, especially in software technology. At that point the customer can choose to not to update or not depending on their needs. I still have my iphone 5s and I have no need to update it now, but eventually I will as needs change.
