I would nonetheless appreciate if you would leave this thread here, because its intended audience is actually Carrara users.

The point I am trying to make - and I believe this point has been made by many other users in many threads - is that Daz does not have adequate development resources to make any significant works on its dying products, i.e. Carrara, Hexagon, and Bryce.

If you are a Carrara unconditional, then keep using it as it is, until it breaks on your hardware/OS. But don't expect a brand new mind-blowing Carrara 9 to ever see the light of the day.

No worries I was not planning on moving your thread I just wanted to make you aware of the other forum as well. I got my start with Hexagon and I do also own Carrara even thou it did not catch with me but the fundamentals I learned in Hexagon is what got me to go further with Blender
