Once again I get the chance to rant about how much I love my Fuji 4900 - previous posts will show how much I love it, so I'm gonna save you the boring details here, 'cept to summarise it's the second Fuji I've had and it's the poodle's dangley bits. With the money you are talking about you could even go to the higher resolution one and get the 6900. Ok, 6 x optical zoom may be limiting for some people, but I find it adequate. As recommended at an earlier date (I think by Alpha - sorry to whoever if I'm wrong) try DPREVIEW.COM - I found it useful and that is what clinched it with the Fuji for me. The magazine reviews always seem to mention the way it bends the horizon - to be honest, this has only happened once to me, and I haven't been able to replicate it since - I'm sure it was on low quality image, max optical zoom and max digital zoom...... I certainly don't have a problem with it... Hope this helps! Mike (",)
