Well, @vilters always said to rig only to a zeroed figure, which is why I use G3 boots to rig in Poser. They usually load in the zero position, high heel angled sharply forward. Depending on the style of the boot—something rigid that will not bed at the ankle—you can rig only down to the shin. I learned that from looking at Bat Kitteh’s rigging for Bootleggers 2 in DS, which made them an easy conversion to Poser with the shoe, in essence, modeled to the foot. I’m guessing that transferring rigging in the setup room wouldn’t work because other rigs work to the zero position of the figure.
