Hi all,

I've learned a million things in the short month since I purchased Poser. I reckon I'm well on the way to 5% competent... (OK - maybe 3.5%...)

Here's one that is eluding me though:

Camera views orbiting the right object and/or place.

Some figures and props that I've downloaded have a very odd setting when I try to rotate the view using the 'trackball' tool in Camera Controls.

For example when I track around Andy, the main camera scoots around him neatly as though there's an invisible sphere around him and the camera is on the surface of it, pointing at him as I spin and move. Cool.

However, I have a boxing ring which, when loaded, sets the 'sphere' at one of the corner posts - meaning that when I rotate, most of the ring shoots out of sight, only returning as I come back to a full 360. Ideally, I want the camera rotation axis to be at the centre of the ring so that I can keep everything in view as I spin.

Of course I understand that I can move this axis myself by using the up/down/left/right/in/out controls above the trackball but this takes a lot of faff so I assume there must be a simple way to pin the rotational axis of the camera.

One other quick example: hand and face cameras are perfect in this respect: they orbit the chosen item neatly.

I'd be grateful if someone could help - even a simple link to a tutorial would be great. I don't seem to be asking Google the right questions to find this myself!

Thanks 😁 RSK
