thanks! :o) I finally figured what it was that I was doing wrong and now I know I'm a moron. ;-)) Everything I did was fine, event the conversion, except for one little tid-bit: convert the image to pict before pasting in as a resource inside the .cr2 file. I know this sounds looney, but the original image worked fin on my Mac and never worked on a PC until I did this. I realized last night that PhotoShop can create a PICT Resource file, so this is what I did and then got my friend ResEdit out to get the resource from that file into the .cr2 replacing the original thumbnail. Works wonderfully well! :o) ...if this sounds like chinese, I'm sorry! I think I just might write a tutorial on this... Anyone interested? ;-) Cheers! Caroline
