When I install I usually include the vendors name with the product. I don't want to have to search through all the vendor folders to find the item I'm looking for, but I want to know who the vendor was because sometimes it's important (for example, when you buy add on textures later, or have a question about the product. Not to mention you can avoid duplicate product names that way (it happens). For example, if the original path was /kaleya/dress i change that to /kaleya dress when I install and reduce the hierarchy by one.
