I don't know how it's supposed to be, but I've had no difficulty manually installing Rendo content into my Daz content library. I wanted an actual content directory. I made one in my user folder and put my Daz library in Documents->Daz3D->content. Then I told DIM where to put my content. I made a post a while ago to explain that. A lot of (not all!) the Rendo content I buy ends up in the subdirectories of the runtime folder. Daz supports multiple content directories. You can set up new directory sets in preferences->content->content directory manager. I haven't done that (yet). I may try it soon.
