La Femme's topology is designed for multi-resolution morphing in addition to animation, meaning that morphs can be sculpted at increasing levels of subdivision for increasing levels of detail. That places different demands on the topology compared to a figure that is only intended to be morphed at the base resolution, that's why La Femme's mesh looks different to many other Poser figures - it's supposed to!
Wrote above before seeing Deecey's post - yep, I would also assume that the 'sharp edges' comment is a normal issue, and completely agree there would be no point in having smooth normals in the obj file as Poser will ignore them. I expect Blender doesn't smooth normals by default - the Smooth button is available in the Tool Shelf when in Object mode according to the manual ...
For as many unkind things that Tony has posted about LaFemme, I have never once posted anything negative about the figure he has created. I may have questioned his reasons for doing things the way he is, but I've never called his figure "trash" or "garbage."
There's a saying. One man's trash is another's treasure.
I honestly don't understand why he's on this odd mission of his. But it's really not all that cool, and is coming across as trolling.
