Hi Hawkfyr, Yes saving as individual frames does have certain advantages but it all depends what you want to do. If your movie is going to be quite a long production you will need a large hard drive. And possibly a fast one at that to pull all the individual frames out in real time. If it is just for more post production control and adding sound then you can do that with AVI's and QT files just the same as with individual frames. The most popular software for doing this in the medium price range is Adobe Premier and then maybe Ulead Media Studio. As far as inexpensive goes the one that springs to mind is 'Desktop Video Producer 5' from Asymetrix. I have never used this software and I can't tell you how good it is but I think it is at least a third the price of Premier. Remember though you get what you pay for.
