Sure, I have the same problem with tutorials. But it is less difficult for me because I was not used to 2.7. Last year I decided to wait for 2.8 before moving to Blender for that very reason.
Now there are more and more 2.8 tutorials being published and things are more and more easy as I practice.
The advantage on you I have is that I am starting with 2.8. So everything is new and nice to me.
