Now I followed your direction and opened Poser and did the search for the Poser prefs and it did give me a path and so I have to assume that a file exists somewhere...
You neglected to confirm for us what path Poser told you. What did it say? Also you did not "search" for the prefs - you asked Poser to literally tell you where it is.

Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)
