The smartest thing to to do would be for them to stop sending me emails like the fed says they have to if I ask them not to send me any emails ;). Which I have. Multiple times. For years. Yet, every year or two, I'm back here, asking them to stop sending me emails again. Yay. I don't want to report them as spam, but I will if they don't honor my request to stop sending me emails. It's just that simple. If posting a reply in a thread once in awhile is "opting back in" I sure didn't hear about it, and I'd argue that point too. What they need to do is put an email on a permanent list that doesn't want correspondence. I have every thing opting me in to getting emails turned off that I'm able to turn off yet, at some point in time, I start getting them again. This has happened over and over thru the years here. They need to stop and get a better system because federal rules say they have to.
