If installing any pre-Millenium software I would recommend to install it on another directory than the standard Program Files. Starting with Millenium Windows began to lock the usage of that directory and it can no longer be used for data storage. Hence you will not be able to work properly with the default Runtime library. You will have no problem Installing P5 in a custom directory.
