The Poser-to-Blender news is quite exciting. I've actually gone back to Poser Pro 2014 as 1) it doesn't have that odd "phone-home feature" of the latest version, and 2) runs brilliantly well in Linux Mint. I've even got Adobe Air to install in WINE, so the native Poser Library works, well, in 32-bit Poser Pro, anyway.
This renders my little "shader-addon" obsolete, which is a relief, because I really wasn't looking forward to learning a new API in order to port the thing to 2.8. I doubt there's that many users anyway. I was scratching my own itch anyway, and making it available to others, as we open-source folk do... it was never meant to be anything really slick and polished.
I was excited to find this also the idea of a real potential work flow between Poser and Blender with out getting to overly messy with add-on's that sometimes get dropped midway thru development and such and that a potential native just export import work flow may already exist sounds ideal to me
