Regarding the shader in the previous post - I was originally using a horizontal plane (not the stack of books), which is why I had a constant plugged into y_scale, and the manipulated u/v texture coordinates plugged into z/x_scale respectively.
With the stack of books, the bottom 32 are mapped to the left side of the UV map,while the top 32 are mapped to the right side,so it all looks correct.
However, I'd forgotten to change the connections, i.e. swap the inputs to y_scale and z_scale.
So I'm slightly puzzled as to why it's working ?
The 3Dcheapskate* occasionally posts sensible stuff. Usually by accident.
And it usually uses Poser 11, with units set to inches. Except when it's using Poser 6 or PP2014, or when its units are set to PNU.
