Subject: Adjusting Existing UV Maps/Textures

OK I think I grasp what you are asking Crispycraft so bear with me as try to put my answer into words first each of those are individual islands if you hover your mouse over the individual island and hit the "L: key on your keyboard that will highlight that island and then you can use the scale and rotate to make changes to that island I have personally found that when working on UV's and wanting to make changes especially to the scaling of those island is best to be either in Face or Edge selection mode see the red arrow in my screen shot below also my screen shot is from Blender 2.79 have not tried the UV tools in 2.8 but think they would work pretty much the same and this is a good UV tips tutorial by CG MASTERS 10 Essential UV Tips and Tricks | Blender Tutorial I do hope this helps do let me know
