Thanks for the replies, guys. Lobo, I have actually scaled the islands, on the uv map section, but this scaling is not effecting the size of the binding of the actual models texture. I can now see that it is due to how the model was unwrapped. If I go to the model, and click a cell (Island), I can scale it to the size that is correct, but it then distorts the models texturing, as it stretches the texture (in this case, wood grain). To me, it looks as though the builder didn't actually separate the binding of the guitar from the body of the guitar, during the mapping process. Therefore, no matter what I do to the "Binding" mesh, no scaling takes place. I' believe that the model would need to be UV Unwrapped again, but actually segregating the texturing, in order for any scaling to take place. This seems like a big challenge for someone of my little knowledge of Blender.
