I purchased PP11 from SM when it was released. So when this update comes out here does that mean that my version of PP11 will stop working and if so how to I rectify that? Hopefully it doesn't require purchasing a new copy.

Forgot to mention I have version 11.1.1.35540, and it's a regular install not an upgrade.

It will not stop working. You'll get a free update to 11.2. All the information about that will show up closer to the release date next week.
