I'm not on a Mac, so I don't know how different the Poser UI is from the Windows version, and I've not had this issue with my Photoshop, though it's an older version, so that may be the reason if you have a newer version of Photoshop.
I'm assuming you don't have any palette windows flowing around while you have Poser open. The one thing I always do for 98% of my Poser palette windows that are open all the time is, I disable Drag-Dropping. That makes each of them permanently in the place I have each of them, unless I decide to move one at some point.
Just right click in the upper right corner of each of the palette windows, and deselect it as shown in the screenshot below.
