OMG, I'm glad I backed up the Runtime folder. Dragging a different Runtime folder DID overwrite the installed Runtime folder with its four subfolders!!!

So, since it DOES overwrite the existing folder, I guess one has to go in and merge the Runtime folders manually? Good God, this will take a long time.
