Noonaa, I do not use a mac, and therefore do not fully understand the problem, but a little research led me to this page, Uninstall Flash ( and while it is speaking predominantly about flash player, I believe it will also work with flash ) there is a section on the page talking about how pervasive flash is on your system and how to completely rid yourself of it. Now I do not know if the app mentioned is any good, or if it needs a paid licence, but hopefully it can point you in the right direction to uninstall flash completely before trying to reinstall it.
