Now, back to your problem: If I were in the same situation as you are, I'd just set up my own user interface instead of waiting for support.
If you want to do it, here are some tips:
Every tool tab has a tiny triangle button with some interface options:
If a tool tab is set to docked, it'll try to tuck itself to your interface. If set to floating, it'll keep floating above your window without tucking itself to the interface. If you disable Drag-Docking in it, it won't be dragged and moved by your mouse when you click it, so you can avoid changing your interface by accident. You can use these to configure your Poser workspace.
Every tool tab that might be closed can be found here...
So you can open the tool tabs you want, place them where you want them in the interface, and then disable drag-docking when they're where you want them.
All the divisions between a tab/window and the other can be resized when you mouseover the split between them.
Using all of that, you can set your interface panels yourself, and then you can go to Edit>Preferences and, in the Interface tab, set the Launch Behavior to "Launch to previous state", so that Poser will load like that every time you open it.
As a suggestion/idea, here's what my interface looks like:
Some people will have it differently, depending on what they use more - a lot of people use the Hierarchy Editor a lot, or the Python Scripts panel, etc. Or use less space for the Library so more things can fit the screen. And so on.
