Hi Bichworth. I've just looked in on this discussion and have seen where you're having problems with Poser running on an older version of Mac OS.

The Adobe Flash message that started all of this might have been a pushed security update from Apple that disallowed running an older version of Flash. Others can correct me if I'm wrong, especially with respect to Mac OS 10.7.5. I'm not sure if you can still find a compliant version of Flash for that version of Mac OS. It might be worth some more time looking around on the official Adobe site and/or Adobe user forums.

I'm not clear which version you have and/or which version initially started throwing the Flash error. If it's not too much trouble, would you mind repeating your Poser version(s) for me? I'm coming off a multi-episode migraine so my thought process is a little fuzzy.

Not sure if this applies, but some older versions of Poser that were developed by Smith Micro no longer work as of a few days ago. When Bondware bought Poser from Smith Micro, they (Smith Micro) allowed their versions of Poser to continue running until Bondware could patch Poser to use Bondware's activation/licensing servers. Smith Micro has now shut down their servers and any versions of Poser that "phoned home" to Smith Micro ceased working. Bondware's update fixes this and points Poser to the new servers. I'd need someone else to jump in and list the older Poser versions impacted by this. I seem to get that list wrong when doing it from memory. LOL!

It may be that you've downloaded and installed the new Bondware version which should get Poser running again. I'm sorry that I'm being dense and not grasping which versions you're talking about.

As an aside, I was using Poser Pro 2014 up until mid-August. I came here and purchased an upgrade to Poser Pro 11 (the Smith Micro version.) On September 19th, I downloaded and installed the free update from Bondware which directed Poser to use their servers instead of the now defunct Smith Micro servers. It was a really smooth transition for me on both my Macs.

I'm not sure if any of this helps, but will be glad to try and help solve your issue with Poser on the Mac if I can.
