hornet3d, I agree in theory that maybe SM should get the flack but when I asked at the SM forums regarding GameDev's continuing working ( here ), they said Renderosity will handle it. So...

Still, at least I could downgrade it to 2014, so I still do have a working version. Now onwards and upwards :)

I upgraded to Game Dev but reverted to Poser Pro 2014 as soon as I found out about the 'phone home' feature. I stayed with that for a long while after Poser 11 came out but then I had the opportunity to upgrade to Poser 11 Pro for something like £39 (about $50 at the time) which included a video tutorial in the price and so I finally upgraded. I still kept a version of Poser Pro 2014 but I really fell in love with the Superfly render engine so I do use Poser 11 and have now upgraded to Poser 11.2.

As to Renderosity handling it, well the Poser 11.2 update includes all the extra features of Game Dev and then some added to that there is a great deal of extra content. I have no way of knowing the official Renderosity view but perhaps they regard that as handling it.

I use Poser 13 on Windows 11 - For Scene set up I use a Geekcom A5 -  Ryzen 9 5900HX, with 64 gig ram and 3 TB  storage, mini PC with final rendering done on normal sized desktop using an AMD Ryzen Threadipper 1950X CPU, Corsair Hydro H100i CPU cooler, 3XS EVGA GTX 1080i SC with 11g Ram, 4 X 16gig Corsair DDR4 Ram and a Corsair RM 100 PSU .   The desktop is in a remote location with rendering done via Queue Manager which gives me a clearer desktop and quieter computer room.
