If you owned Game Dev and had a "permament activation" from SmithMicro, did you even need to upgrade? I'm not claiming that was the case with the OP, I'm just asking a general question for anyone who has an answer.
No need for a upgrade in that case. I have both PP2014GD and PP11.1 with permanent activation running on my machines.
