Poser Pro 11.2 is 64-bit only, no more 32-bit version.
I updated my MacBook to Catalina last night and later updated Poser Pro 11.1 to 11.2. Everything looks good. There are a variety of warning messages that pop up during Poser's installation and first launch due to Catalina's new security measures. Poser seems to be working fine for the short period of time that I've used it. My main Poser machines are 2 older Macs still running Sierra and Poser Pro 11 has been running great on them.

I am on Poser 11.2.276 running Catalina. I have not been able to get the Queue Manager running correctly. I built a dual-CPU Windows box that I run renders on, and since I moved to Catalina it won't transmit images back correctly. I haven't been able to play with it to try and figure out what is wrong, as I am in the middle of a long run of renders. I am just executing renders manually on that machine for now. I suspect it may just be Catalina's new privacy for the disks. we will see.
Well, after a few days on Catalina I would recommend against its installation. It is buggy. Not necessarily buggy with Poser, but with everything else. I now suspect the issue I am having with the Queue Manager is just a Catalina bug. I have a copy of Storyist that core-dumps with no apparent reason (I think it might be due to the auto-save). The developer said it was a Catalina bug and even tried to work around the bug, but no joy. There are lots of issues with iCloud, beyond repeatedly asking me to sign-in, options not working until I sign in (which I am), not unlocking with Apple Watch... then Apple forced me to reset my Apple ID Password this morning for no apparent reason and wouldn't recognize my new password on iCloud.com. IMHO, a very very bad reliability release for Apple.
I don't use the Queue Manager on my Macs, so I won't be of any help with that.
My experience has been good with Catalina in general and what little I've used Poser under Catalina has worked as normal (so far.)
If folks are having Catalina issues like sschneew is experiencing, it would be best not to do the Catalina update. I normally don't jump in right away on a new MacOS release, but my MacBook is not my primary rendering machine, so I decided to give it a go. I'm not seeing the problems that sschneew is experiencing on my set up. My MacBook unlocks perfectly with my Apple Watch and I've not experienced any difficulties with iCloud services so far. Anyway, it would be good practice to wait for the first point release of Catalina before moving your Mac onto that OS. Perhaps Apple will fix the various bugs that always pop up with any of their releases.
I hope it all gets sorted out soon and apologies again for not being a Queue Manager kind of guy.

Good to hear, sschneew! I downloaded the same updater, but haven't installed it on my MacBook running Catalina yet. Probably will do that tomorrow and do some more rigourous testing in Poser. I almost exclusively render on a Sierra Mac Mini or iMac. I'm hoping to use Catalina's Sidecar feature with my iPad Pro/Pencil to work on some texture maps for Poser. We'll see how that little experiment goes. LOL! Glad you've got a more stable Poser app now.

Catalina destroyed my MBPr mid 2012 (I keep waiting for a compelling MBP upgrade, and each year the options are worse) Took me days to fix. I thought it was just a security patch installing. It rebooted, got to 100% progress bar then powered down. Did that over and over. Tried reinstalling from r partition. no joy. Over and over. Safe mode... no worky. Single use mode only. Copied all data off onto external drive using that. After days, I had to comletely blow away the entire internal drive, hidden artitions and all, and reinstall from Mojave on external drive. Reinstalled everything (latest versions only and coied back data, including prefs and app support. Pretty much everything back to working order. Except my keyboard is now flaky, only for keys on the right. Catalina ruined my boot partition, rescue partition, NVRam, etc. No idea what it did. Maybe it hit something installed and barfed but wow, it really made a mess of things. Under Tim, they lost the HW "wars". Except the iMac Pro, you can get better non-Apple HW for every form factor. And MacOS is going backwards faster than everyone else can move forwards. The last laptop I would consider buying was the 2015. I'm a programmer. The keyboard matters. A lot.
Just a note that Poser has crashed on me repeatedly since I upgraded to Catalina. Sometimes it just shuts down and sometimes it just hangs and I have to force it to quit. It's happened about a dozen times in the last week. Frustrating. In terms of Poser, Don't upgrade to Catalina if you don't have to. (Although, I've had no problems with Catalina otherwise.)

Is the new version of Poser Pro 11 64-bit? I've had PP11 since it first came out and thought it was 64-bit, but now can't find anything definite in the "about" page that confirms that. I ask because it looks like Mac Catalina will only run 64-bit programs. Haven't updated to the new OS yet, but wondering what will be affected before I do.
