check what your mobo will run, then search for cards which will fit, then check benchmarks. You'll be able to then check prices on ebay (don't laugh I got mine there 4 years ago {QUAD 6000} and it's fine) and see if it's worth it to you. I don't know how much of a jump you'll see if any.
