Right, the tool that Windows users were being advised to ensure a complete uninstall of any particular piece of software was geek uninstaller Of course, before you run that, make sure you have a backup of your preferences and content (you really shouldn't need to worry about uninstalling or overwriting content, but it never hurts to have a backup), then try a complete uninstall of all the Poser components, before you attempt a fresh install.

I hope that anyone who notices something I've quoted or suggested in error will jump in and correct me, but If you're not able to run Poser at all without it crashing, then it's hardly a backward step to uninstall and reinstall.
