Answering the questions which arose from my recent post here:

does this work for transparent things like eyelashes and eyes and transmapped hair?

The display-mode I'm using for the shadows render doesn't like such things, but that shouldn't matter much. All you want are the shadows for blending. Since the deep shadows render is on its own layer in Photoshop when you paste it in, a flick of the Photoshop eraser should remove any ugly blocked-in transmapped eyelashes or similar. Without damaging the layers beneath (you may need to "knock out white" for precision editing of inks, and there are many free actions to do that). Obviously for hair you'll want stuff that shows up nicely in real-time Preview and other display modes. That usually means some of the hair that was produced in the sweet-spot when Genesis 1 fibremesh hair was being shipped with Poser files. The DSON plugin will bring it into Poser.

"remove Gamma via the default script. Where is that script?"

Not remove, lighten. The script ships with Poser 11.2 and is found at: Top Menu | Scripts | MaterialMods | ChangeGamma. Try a value of 1. It's easy to use and can lift grungy dark textures without having to fiddle around with re-texturing. Although you will want things like toon skin (get the free "Material set for Comic Book Preview in Poser 11") and will want to leave those alone re: Gamma lifting.
