Just a quick note about rebooting. When you choose to reboot always choose ReSTART not TURN OFF. Turn off takes a snapshot of your system and returns it to that state if possible. Restart actually gives you a clean working field that has nothing to do with the previous state.

Before I start. I do a CCleaner wipe of my system. THEN I restart not turn off.

Another tip might be if you're not using the internet after installing. You might need to be connected for that first use after installation, perhaps even during installation. Poser needs to phone home from time to time. No flame wars, people. We're trying to get him/her up and running. The phone home feature is for another thread and another day. For now, just know that it exists and may be affecting his program. Also My installation path C:Program FilesSmith MicroPoser 11. The actual program is small enough to reside on my C: Drive while all of my runtimes exist quite nicely on external drives.
