Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 29 7:57 am)
I believe I may have found the culprit. The only change which has occured on my PC in the last week or so was a Windows 10 update which ran in the wee hours on 12/12. I performed a system restore to 12/11 and low and behold, the Geometric Edge is functioning as it should again. So it appears that there's something about the latest Windows 10 update that's causing some sort of conflict with Poser 11.2, and at the very least, this conflict is resulting in the Geometric Edge to stop functioning properly.
Here are my PC specs: Dell Desktop PC (close to 5 years old), OS: Windows 10, CPU: i7-4790 @ 3.60GHz, RAM: 24.0 GB DDR3, GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GT 720 (Dedicated GPU memory 1.0 GB, Shared 12.0 GB), C Drive: 1 Terabyte Toshiba DT01ACA100 (Poser and Runtimes are installed here), External Hard Drive: 1 Terabyte Seagate

Hello my friends! Up until 2 days ago, when doing celshaded renders, adjusting the Geometric Edge in the material room was never an issue, and worked exactly as expected. However, it seems to have stopped functioning completely. Regardless of what number I input to adjust its thickness, it has no bearing on the outline, neither in the display window nor final render. I have tried it on multiple files/scenes, and multiple characters, all to no avail. Again, it was functioning as it should up until approximately 2 days ago. Any assistance with this matter is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
