You're also encouraged to post your entry on social media and in your gallery during the contest. They wanted to try something new and believe this may generate new interest in the contests. It still has to be new art and not previously posted anywhere online.

I was going to place in the holiday contest . But I could not use any of the prizes and I already have poser pro 11.2 and I figured i get more viewers on youtube and still remain owner of this film so i posted it there . But i still like to share with with you all created with content bought from rendo created and rendered in daz studio

I agree with misty as well, anonymity would make the contest more fair . but I also would like for someway to keep our art & animation download from being stolen and re-uploaded on you tube, I have had that happen to me, & I had to go threw a lot of crap to get it took down. . So I am not really sure what a good solution would be to resolve this problem from art pirates. it happens all over & at other art sites too.so its not isolated to renderosity. That is why I started to put a logo brand on all my videos

BTW So does this mean I can post this sugar plum fairy in the holiday contest now ?

No, I'm sorry, you can't post it to the contest. The contest rules state: Entries must be new artwork not previously posted online, or anywhere else publicly. After the entry is posted, then you can put it in your gallery and share on social media, but not before. I do hope everyone visits your gallery and sees the animation, or see it here. It really is a beautifully rendered animation. I wish I could make something like that. Have you ever made a tutorial? I bet it would be good.

I couldn't find anyone in the 3D contest who had cross-posted to their gallery... kept re-reading the instructions to see if I was just confused, so I came here for definitive answers. I posted it, but... now I just feel weirdly awkward, like the one kid who stood up to answer a question in class...

To answer the question on tutorials , Yes I have one 3 hours long beginners course on how to get started animating using daz studio . But it is for sale on another 3d site. not available here. As soon as daz works out the bugs with the new timeline and the gpu issue I plan on doing another one using the new ik-chain & animating deforce with the new timeline editor, But this version of studio is to buggy for me to be comfortable making a animation class for it. i have start a animated project with poser pro 11 . but is a little more time consuming when it comes to creating animation with it than daz studio is. but both have nice features fr animated 3d cartoons
