@Miss B - Oh I know, but it's the same on DAZ as well, it's like $100 for a quality figure pack.

It's been so long since I purchased any "new" figures at DAZ, I can't recall if they have it arranged so you have to purchase everything in the pack in order to get the new figure. That's the one thing I like about how HiveWire sets up any of their packs. You purchase what you want, when you want. Granted Orian will be brand new, so unless you can model your own clothing for the new character, it will be necessary to purchase some items, at least to get started.
