In some forum post, someone recommended to press SHIFT at the beginning (and turning off inertia temporarily) to avoid any issues with inertia when the cloth pushes away from its collision object in the first frame. I've found this useful in the past, that's why I'll occasionally press SHIFT before running the static or dynamic sim.
The issue I'm running into with v2 can be reproduced with any clothing. Here are the steps:
Again, not a big deal since there are plenty of workarounds. I just wanted to report it since it doesn't happen in V1.
