Yeah but you can't turn the damn thing off. I used Windows 7 for well over a decade, and never once failed to be able to install something and I had the slider set to minimum on that as well. I don't have any doubt at all that the problems I'm having are down to those unaccountable establishment tossers at Microsoft.
